Hello World

Welcome to the blog. This is where I'll share updates on my projects — new game releases, music drops, thoughts on the creative process, and anything else that doesn't fit neatly into the other sections of this site.

I've been building things on the side for a while now — games like Mardle, songs across multiple streaming platforms, and a poetry book. This blog will be a running log of what's in progress, what I've learned along the way, and whatever catches my interest.

Who is Iggy Bing?

I'm an IT Professional by trade, having been, over the years, a software engineer, solutions architect, data architect, data engineer, App Dev Manager, and Platform Engineering manager (in charge of Analytics, Reporting and Machine Learning platforms). At one point, I used the name "Iggleflip Bingleschnitz" when creating test data for a project at work, and found that it shortened nicely to "Iggy Bing," which for better or worse, stuck. Et voila.

Besides, my real name is already "taken" by multiple famous people. Not trying to be secretive.

Why IggyBing.com?

When creating an Android game, I needed somewhere to host some advertising related files, and also the web versions thereof, which was excuse enough to create the site. From there, I figured, why not flesh it out to include my other creative projects, and so forth? SO, there you have it. A home for my games, music, writing, and whatever else I feel like sharing with the occasional visitor, like you. Thanks for stopping by.
